Reviewer Guidelines
The peer-review system used by Annals of Forest Research is double blind: the authors and reviewers are anonymous one another. The peer-review is recorded in a standard paper form, received by reviewers together with the manuscript. On it, they would clearly analyze the paper and argument the opinion presented in evaluation form.
The reviewers are requested to assure the confidentiality of all the information regarding the manuscript and the accompanying documents.
If the reviewer suspects any possible conflict of interest between himself and the received manuscript, he must decline the evaluation and return the manuscript.
We kindly encourage the reviewers to adopt a constructive way of conducting the peer-review. The result of a peer-review is expected to be returned to Editorial Office within 4 weeks.
